How to maintain a Cleaning Check List for your Crawling Baby

Delighted that your little one is finally crawling, reaching to higher objects, keeping things in his/her mouth. This is a great milestone development. One thing that has to be focused is the CLEANING.

I would like to share you my cleaning checklist which is helping me and keeping my little one safe. This is a very simple and easy way to keep you organised with the chore. You can also share this with your helpers and keep track of things around.

I have 3 different ways of cleaning, Daily , Weekly and Monthly. I have mentioned the details below.

    Daily Tasks

Daily task is time consuming and we may miss out on few things. One way to stick to the plan is to use a checklist. Do allow your child to crawl and move around to get used to the products at home. Name each product to stimulate language development to your baby.
  1. Floor Cleaning:

    • Vacuum or sweep floors.
    • Mop floors with a baby-safe cleaner.
  2. Surface Cleaning:

    • Wipe down surfaces like coffee tables, low shelves, and toys.
    • Sanitize high-touch areas such as doorknobs and light switches.
  3. Toy Cleaning:

    • Wash and sanitize frequently used toys.
  4. Laundry:

    • Wash baby’s clothing, blankets, and any soft toys.
    • Change and wash crib sheets.

 Weekly Tasks
Allot a day for a deep clean. Keep your family and helpers know about the cleaning plan. Set a     free time. Ensure no guest or your baby is not sick.

    • Move furniture to clean underneath and behind.

    • Wipe down bathroom floors.
  3. Kitchen:

  4. Dusting:

    • Dust all surfaces, including shelves, picture frames, and electronics.
    • Clean window sills and blinds.
    • Clean the medicine boxes and check for expiry
  5. Check for Hazards:

    • Ensure no small objects are within reach.
    • Secure furniture to prevent tipping.
